So what's a typical day for this housewife? Well yesterday was busy and exhausted. But it was also exciting and fun, and I learned some new things! And it was 80 degrees, what else do you need?
9:30 - 11:00 am
Cleaning ladies @ the house. Water the flowers my Mom and I planted outside, chit chat with the neighbors, have breakfast, act retired, etc.
12:30 pm
Stuck in traffic on 55.
1:00 - 2:00 pm
Lunch with Diandra @ Panozzo's. Mmmmm.
2:00 - 4:30 pm
Attend the Fabric & Trim Show @ the Merchandise Mart. Source new fabrics for the next collection. Preview: Think Bubble Gum and Lemon Ice for colors!
5:00 - 6:00 pm
Meet with Angela/Mode FG to discuss organiK Revolution fashion show looks for the May 30th event.
6:00 - 7:00 pm
Dinner @ Wrigleyville Dogs. (Chili cheese dog, fries, & Sprite!)
7:00 - 10:00 pm
Writing class @ the Writers' Loft
So yeah, I was exhausted! But there's so many new things swirling in this bleached head of mine. New bengaline fabric I found at the fabric and trim show... pastel plaids for sundresses... and my homework for my writing class - write 10 pages of anything! I gotta get these ideas down before they disappear!
I leave you with a new quote I learned in yesterday's Writer's Loft:
"Ninety percent of success in life is just showing up." - Woody Allen

Writers Loft? Is that the blog lessons we were going to go to together?
Hi there,
this is poet, the winner of your generous Veronica wrap giveaway at Thatunreliablegirl's blog. I really admire your work and I understand that you're very busy, so I've been patient waiting for it. The thing is, I will travel to Europe next Tuesday and be gone for 3 weeks, and if it arrived during that time and you happened to send it via UPS, they'd just send it back to you. Therefore, if you haven't sent it off yet, please wait till mid-June before you do so (and please keep me posted about it), else we'll just both have a lot of hassle with it... if you have sent it already and it should arrive before I leave, I'd be very glad to know.
Thanks in advance!
Greetings,
poet
